Lagom Studio Architecture strives to create bespoke, personalized custom homes that enhance the quality of life for each individual client while thoughtfully responding to every site’s existing conditions. Founded in 2025, by architect Joseph Merrill, LSA’s design process is driven by the idea of creating balance between the existing and built environment.

Joseph is a skilled architect with over 10 years of experience designing and overseeing multifamily housing construction in the pacific northwest. Throughout his architectural career, he has honed his analytical skills and gained substantial experience in design, documentation, and construction administration.

Playing a role in bringing conceptual ideas to life and creating something that positively impacts cities, communities, and the environment is what drives his passion for this field.

Joseph received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from University of Oregon in 2015. He is a licensed Architect in Idaho, Oregon, and Washington, is a member of the AIA (American Institute of Architects) and NCARB certified, eligible for reciprocity in all US jurisdictions.
